In-Focus - May 2008

In Focus, has been added to our web-site to keep you informed of projects, events and hopefully items of interest that mark-one are currently involved with. Historically, the 1st quarter of a new year see's us busy with our financial services customers covering; kick-off meetings, annual business conferences and conventions. In 2008 the pattern has continued and we have covered the length and breadth of the country from Portsmouth to Edinburgh.

During the early summer sunshine it has been great to be filming outside. Working with BlueFin Media we have been involved in filming "So You Think You Can Cast" for French company 'Big Carp'. A second project has already been scheduled for October which will see us venturing to France. That will be our second trip across the channel as September will see M1M welcoming a new customer "Angling Technics". The first part of the finished project has already been filmed in the UK and it is already looking very good. Talking of new customers, it has been a real pleasure to provide a service for TNS Media Intelligence, Four Pillars Hotel (Cotswold), Swindon Web and BlueFin Media.

In May we celebrated with the first annual 'mark-one-media Ltd Corporate Golf Day Challenge', which even if we say so ourselves was a great success. The event was held at Bassett Down Golf Club and the benefiting charity this year was The National Star College. Well done to Nigel Cox from British Airways who came out the eventual winner. Over the next couple of months we have confirmed bookings for BCCA, Albemearle & Bond, Openwork Financial Services, The Carp Society, Blue Fin Media, Zurich Financial Services and Intrinsic Financial Services . . . . . Looks like we're going to be busy!
